چکیده
Welding parameters for pipe joint friction stir welding (FSW) have been identified based on L-9 orthogonal arrays used in the Taguchi Method. Different parameters, such as rotation speed, travel speed and axial force, to produce several quality welded AA6063 butt joints. The reliability of products obtained FSW process can be improved through identification optimum combination parameters. Weld was evaluated its tensile strength residual stress profiles. S/N analysis Analysis Variance (ANOVA) determine significant that affect weld quality. Maximum with acceptable at 1300 rpm, 5 mm/s force between 6 kN. goal this study optimize high low stress.

Optimization of the parameters of low-carbon steel (EN10130) welding using friction stir welding method
Friction-stir welding process is a novel method of solid state welding, which produces heat due to friction between the pin, the shoulder and the workpiece. This heat causes a paste area. Shoulder pressure and pin spin cause edges integration and lead to welding. In this study, firstly, the feasibility of welding of steel sheet (EN10130) with a thickness of 1.5mm has been tested by 58 experim...
متن کاملTool Geometry for Friction Stir Welding—Optimum Shoulder Diameter
The most important geometric parameter in the friction stir welding (FSW) tool design is the shoulder diameter, which is currently estimated by trial and error. Here, we report a combined experimental and theoretical investigation on the influence of shoulder diameter on thermal cycles, peak temperatures, power requirements, and torque during FSW of AA7075-T6. An optimum tool shoulder diameter ...
متن کاملWelding Parameter Optimization of Alloy Material by Friction Stir Welding using Taguchi Approach
Friction stir welding is used as a solid state joining process for soft materials such as aluminium alloys and also for hard materials like steels. It avoids many of the common problems obtained in fusion welding. In mechanical, civil, automobile, naval, and aeronautical engineering beams are widely used of the magnesium alloys for different applications and that are joined by conventional iner...
